We have a very light color leather sofa. What product is good and what's the best way to clean it so that it also gets clean in the grooves of the leather? it seems I have to scrub it...should be another easier way and something better for the leather. I don't want to ruin it.
I use to have black leather furniture. "Guardsman" is a really good brand, I got it at the furniture store. What ever you use be sure you don't dry it out.. Guardsman has a conditioner for you to use after you clean.. works and smells great!!! When you do clean the furniture be sure to look at your high stress spots (around the seems, and along the arms) pay attention to those areas. Hope this helps.

We use a leather cleaner purchased at Home Depot. An orange plastic bottle. Sprays on. It's kind of lotiony. Just rub it in with an old t-shirt.
Saddle soap is the best thing to use to clean leather. we used to use it on boots and baseball gloves and everything leather. it is made just for cleaning leather.
