Do you take in account the people who are left handed and eat with their left hands, at least if you know they are left handed? such as, my husband is left handed and I always put the silverwear to the left of his plate, where as myself and our son are right handed so the silverwear goes to the right. Does anybody else do this if your significant other or children are left handed? This is of course for an informal table, not a fancy shmancy dinner party or anything.
I don't. Maybe since I never knew my customers' preferences. The table is set as normal, if lefties need to change it around, that's fine. I can only assume, as a rightie, that guests have adapted to it to it at any restaurant.
when we have family get togethers we just usually put the lefties at the end of the table
nice name btw hehehe
I probably wouldn't, after years of setting the table my way.
No. If your left handed, it's really simple just to reach over.
What do you do when you set the table?
