My fiance wanted to help with the wedding and the move so I decided to tell him to go find a couch. of course he picks out an expensive brown leather reclining couch. it is more of like a mahogany then brown. the walls of the room are white and the carpet is an offwhite. we also have a burgundy recliner. what color should the end tables and coffee tables be. I am not good at decorating I need help to match this couch!! thanks!
I would do the tables in black. Then find an area rug with black, reddish-brown, and sage green. it will all pull together, and you'll love it.
The sage green is a complimentary color to red, and a dark rug against the light carpet will be really sharp.
Maybe you should try a leather ottoman. These days many people are using ottomans as coffee tables. a brown/mahogany ottoman would a nice compliment to the couch.
So I need help decorating around a brown leather couch?
