I bought a used kitchen table, real wood. How do I clean it & bring it back to life?

The table and chairs are a bit worn and have a build up of wax or dirt, I want to clean them and treat them with a product that will bring out the beauty of this set

You could clean it with Murphy's Oil Soap Original Formula. If you go to their website they have cleaning tips which have been used and they usually pretest all of their recommendations before telling the consumer so as not to be libel for problems. Murphy's Oil Soap(original formula) has been used for generations in the US to clean wood. So, I am sure it works well.

where are you from? if you're from the uk then use pledge, just spray and wipe away. if not then find a spray that cleans wood and brings out the shine. you don't need alotta chemicals. just a good spray for wood and cleaning cloth.

if they're REALLY bad then you can get a power sander (or take longer and do it by hand) and sand the finish off of them and then re-finish them with a protective gloss/covering

use xxxx steel wool and rub off old finnish. this will allow you to touch up stain if need be. then rub or spray on protective coating. about $20 and elbow grease

guardsman wood cleaner it will take off old wax and some marks then spray it with a polish
