How do you cleam marble top tables?

marble needs to be kept away from acids. be wary of any vinegar, lemon or citrus cleaners. I have a marble counter top, and I use a dilute bleach cleaner. Bleach is a Base, not an Acid, so it doesn't hurt the marble surface. also stay away from abrasives since marble can scratch easily too.

I don't know why I chose marble for my counter top!

marble cleaner. they have it in Walmart or hardware stores, some grocery stores - in cleaning supplies, usually on top shelves. next to silver polish, chrome and brass cleaners...
follow the directions.
or call your local stone yard (look under stone in your yellow pages.) they usually sell a cleaner, but in large quantities, like for cleaning marble floors.

on a daily basis, wipe with a barely damp cloth and then wipe dry with a soft dry cloth. like old t-shirts. Clean with marble cleaner about 4 times a year.

    This is why I loathe hardware stores in general; too much testosterone going on and that sounds like something I would have done. When I have to go to Home Depot which I detest, I go right to the customer service counter and ask them to get whatever it is I need, but as a rule, I go to Walmart or anywhere else.
