My kitten is about 3 months old and he will not stay off the tables. I think it is so disgusting that he walks around his litter box and then wants to get up on the table where we eat. I tried filling up a spray bottle with water and squirting him every time he got on the table and this is not working. He will jump off the table and get right back up there like we are playing a game. please help. Thank you.

i always carried a squirt gun with me. taught my two not to get on tables or counters
also put up a tall climbing tower for them in corner.
Try putting tinfoil on the tables. Cats hate the feel of tinfoil on their paws (but it won't hurt them). once he jumps up on the tables and feels it, he should hop right back down. I'm not sure how long you need to leave the tinfoil on, but he should begin to associate the tabletop with the uncomfortable feeling of the foil on his paws.
this is why you should have gotten a DOG, dogs are wonderful =]
My 2 mo old Gracie does this too, usually when she smells something good on the table. I pick her up and tell her she's not a side dish and put her on the floor. After a few times, she leaves the kitchen.
