Just curious if anyone has a sister in law from Hell like I do. I'd love to hear your stories and have a laugh. here is my best one.
My SIL is 30, never married, disgustingly obese and she still lives with her mother (my mother-in-law who is also a waste of skin but thats for another time)
When my husband and I were planning our wedding she asked if she could be my Maid of Honor. I politely told her that I had already asked my best friend from out of state to fly in and fill the position, but that I would be happy to have her as a bridesmaid. she started crying and when I asked her what was wrong she said 'nothing' and left. later I found out she told everyone I hated her and was always mean to her etc. When me and the 5 other BM's went to look at dresses she kept whining that the dresses that the other BM's liked were ugly and wouldn't look good on her. Then she tried telling me that should have a different dress from the others anyway because she was the sister of the groom. I told her I wanted all the BMs to have the same dress so the pictures would look good and because thats the way I always wanted it. she began crying (again) and saying I wanted her to look stupid because I didn't like her and when I wouldn't cave she left the store in a huff. The remaining girls all agreed on a navy blue dress and I liked it too so we got it and I bought an extra one in the largest size available because I knew by tomorrow she would want to be included again.
Eventually she gave in and tried the dress on and it fit (size 32) and I thought it looked fine. she bitched that she looked fat and looked stupid in it blah blah I told her that was the dress and if she wanted to be in the wedding that is what she would wear and the subject was dropped.
Fast forward 3 months to my wedding day. everyone was standing outside the entrace doors ready to walk the aisle and sis hadn't arrived yet. Finally I got tired of waiting and said screw it and we began the ceremony. everything went great, the BMs and groomsmen walked down the aisle then it was my turn. It was wonderful walking arm in arm with my dad and looking at the love of my life waiting for me. Halfway up the aisle I turned and sis had finally arrived and took it upon herself to walk up the aisle BEHIND me and my dad wearing a WHITE dress. It took every ounce of will I had not to scream and yell and cry. after the ceremony I asked her what the **** her problem was and told her NOT to go to the reception.
She showed up anyway and helped herself to the food in caterers area before dinner was even served. Then when dinner was served the caterers told me they were 3 meals short and werent sure what happened. Thankfully they were able to quickly whip together 3 extra plates although 2 people that asked for beef got stuck with the chicken. The only reason I found out it was her is because 2 of my BM's were coming out of the rear dressing room area and saw sis stuffing her face in the caterers area while they were setting up the coffee cart. While people were dancing she and my new mother in law walked around the room and took favors off the tables and stuffed them in their purses. we had cards on the table informing guests to feel free to order any drinks they wanted (cocktails, wine, beer) up to 3 on the house and all the soft drinks, tea and coffee they wanted. Sis and mama brought aluminum water bottles and filled them with soda and put them out in their car. Then after sis had her 3 free cocktails she threw a fit at the bartender because he wouldn't give her anymore unless she paid for them. she refused to pay saying she was IN the wedding party and didn't have to pay. plus she said since mama wasn't drinking she should be able to have mama's 3 free drinks. I later had people tell me she was telling other guests that she gave us 3 months max until we divorced and that my *** looked fat, and the food was crappy, and that the only reason her brother married me was because the girl he REALLY wanted was already married to someone else etc. etc.
When the reception was over sis and mama took all the centerpieces and any champagne bottles that were left with anything in them. I also found out sis took the top layer of the wedding cake which I had been planning on saving and freezing for our first anniversary.
She's such a ******. I've been dealing with this nut for 3 years now.
