Your asking for an agreement with the action of homosexuality. this is an irrelevant request. A coffee table has no action and therefor can not be compared in the same way. You are trying to force acceptance of an action based on the existence of a condition. When you use logic in this nature you open yourself up to having to accept other things that might not be so desirable to you. For example to you agree with Aids? It certainly exist and is a very real thing, however I doubt that you would embrace it. do you agree with rape? It too exist and again highly doubt you would embrace it either. Humans have free will. we can choose to act on or not to act on our desires. Homosexual desires are not so different from heterosexual desires. both can be suppressed. Just because humans have a desire to do something does not mean that it is the right thing to do. have you ever wanted to slap someone? be careful whom you slap the results of such an action might come back to haunt you. those who disagree with homosexuality are simply stating a belief. they are not denying it existence in our world. this belief is usually based on religion. without religious beliefs we might very well be far worse off. Religion is the basis for many of the beliefs that enable a civil society. Everything from murder, theft, and welfare have a religious base to them. If say that religion is not the base then I would ask to what do you contribute the founding of the laws most civilized societies live by? in fact it can be said that the only reason homosexuality exist as it does in society is because of the beliefs of the Christian religion. Under Islamic law homosexuality is punished with death. The tolerance homosexuals so deeply desire only exist due to rules that have deep roots in Christianity.
